PRICING IN PROPORTION

In the most significant shake up since the introduction of the Penny Black, Royal Mail changed the way it charged for mail in August 2006.

Royal Mail’s pricing structure now takes into account of the size, thickness as well as the weight of the item to be posted.

Pricing by size is a concept that Royal Mail pursued for some time in order to rebalance its prices in line with costs. It is not a new concept and is employed worldwide in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, Japan and Germany

Size matters

To identify the cost savings available for your mailing campaign, the ONEPOST software needs to know the size and weight of your mailing piece.
