Postal management company ONEPOST announced today the opening of its new warehouse and offices at West Side Park in Derby.

The site was officially opened by The Mayor of the City of Derby, Councillor John Whitby along with key ONEPOST employees and many valued customers.

As a leading provider of independent postal services, ONEPOST are not a new name in Derby but consistent year on year business growth has seen ONEPOST outgrow its existing Raynesway location, and after looking at various possible sites within the UK, decided that Derby offered the best centralised location for their business.

Graham Cooper Managing Director at ONEPOST commented:

“We’re hugely excited to be launching our new West Side Park location in Derby.  A key requirement in selecting a new site was that it had to have excellent transport links for the whole of the UK, and be easily accessible for local businesses in Derby, whilst remaining accessible to our existing workforce. Our new building also had to be large enough to accommodate our new 34-meter sortation machine, which is so long I have been joking with staff they might need rollerblades to get from one end to the other.”

ONEPOST have chosen to invest in a new site to increase the company’s capacity for national mail sortation, fulfilment processing and storage.
